happy halloween!

I'm pretty sure I say this every year but I think this Halloween has been our best yet! Everything about it was perfect and at the end of the night I couldn't help but smile with gratitude for our family, this great little town we live in and all the opportunities the Lord has given us. We are lucky :)

This year Aiden had a really hard time finding a costume he wanted. He actually, didn't even want to look for costumes. I think he was starting to feel he is too old for Halloween. But of course I encouraged him to dress up and just have fun with it. His goal was to find a costume that no one would notice.

We seriously laughed about this all night. He probably had 20 or more people comment on how great his costume was! HA! One little kid thought he was real and kept yelling "I need to meet BB8!!!!" The best part...he was all smiles :)

We had dinner and some trick or treating at my parents house...

And then headed to a hot spot in our town, Main Street, for some more trick or treating...

The kids had a blast! Milly kept saying "I love trick or treating!!!!" She had the best time and it made me think that 4 might possibly be one of my favorite ages :)

And I said something as a parent I never thought I would have to at the end of the night...
"Sissy, please take out the vampire teeth while you are praying."

Happy Halloween!!!!!
