amelia's adventures in preschool day 3

I have to say this whole preschool thing has been a lot harder then I imagined. The first day was great!

The second day was awful...I mean heartbreaking awful. She cried the entire way to preschool, started screaming as we pulled up, screamed all the way down the hall and once we entered the classroom the teacher had to pry her off me where she proceeded to yell "Don't leave me I need you!!!!!!!! I NEED YOU!!!!!!!!" at the top of her lungs.

It took everything inside me to actually leave her there. Thankfully when I picked her up she was all smiles and said she loved preschool. And her teacher said she had a great day :)

So here we are at the 3rd day and the morning started off nice. Cameron took the boys to school so Sis and I could have an easy morning at home. We ate breakfast, got dressed, played with her new Frozen dolls a little, made her lunch and used a funny elmo shaped sandwich cutter that she loves and talked about preschool. She seemed happy...a little unsure but overall happy.

We went to buy new pacifiers before school {don't judge} and a gift card for her teacher. When we pulled up she was a little unsure saying "I think I might need you." I just reassured her how much fun she was going to have :) We walked all the way to the classroom and I looked down at her and saw big tears forming. We walked in, put her things away, talked to her teacher and then I snuck away while she started playing with a doll house. I turned and looked at her as I was leaving and saw her eyes well up with huge tears. But no crying. I stood by the door for a little while and listened and never heard crying. That was a huge relief. I know she really does enjoy it there, this is all just really new for the both of us.

My little lady is growing up :)
